About the Job

Job Description

The Sales Associate is to support the Account Management team with generating inbound request for quotations, obtaining market pricing on material, creating master quote files, inputting details into internal system, sales order support and customer service.

Assist with inbound quote requests via email, fax, and phone

Support account manager team on the development of profitable accounts that regularly meet the owned account requirements

Conduct daily follow-ups on existing quotes

Order processing, expediting, and status updates

Open Order Report support

Help with market research projects.

Must fully understand ITS and industry regulated Certification and Traceability Requirements

Assist with AOG duties

Help grow our customer base by maximizing inbound sales requests that will further develop relationships to grow end-user inquiries into accounts

Help develop organizational and operational excellence by upholding company policies and procedures as well as demonstrating a level of professionalism and communication consistent with the expectations of the position

Help increase liquidity by utilizing time and resources efficiently

Provide the best customer service in the industry

Recognize and communicate industry trends and news

Recognize and analyze customer purchasing patterns in order to better anticipate customer needs

Uphold ITS policies, procedures and a strong company image

Maintain a culture of professionalism and quality

Identify opportunities to sell aging inventory

Work with the account manager team to insure market is maintained and/or appropriate pricing

Must have an eagerness to learn sales and ITSs sales process


Bachelors Degree Required

Aviation experience preferred

Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Suite

Thrives in a fast-paced environment

Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to multitask

Demonstrable aptitude in effective negotiating
