Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Electronics Repair Technician to work in our Irving Texas (Dallas) calibration lab to repair our electronics test equipment. Job Responsibilities and Expectations:

  • Test, repair and calibrate electrical and power field testing equipment including high-current test units, hipots, insulation test sets (Megger), DLROs, Doble relay test sets, CT test sets, digital handheld meters, and transformer test equipment

  • Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment, often without schematics, using oscilloscopes, digital multi-meter, and Huntron tracker

  • Replace regular or surface-mounted components including resistors, conductors and integrated circuits

  • Verify operation post-repair to confirm proper functioning

  • Assist field service technicians with questions about test equipment

  • Travel up to 10 weeks /year (1 week at a time) to support calibration and equipment repair at offices around the U.S.

Minimum Qualifications to qualify for consideration, you must meet each of the following minimum qualifications and


  • High School Diploma, GED or Military background

  • Certificate or diploma from a technical trade school or military a plus, such as CETa (PMEL a plus)

  • 3 or more years of experience performing related electronics repair

  • Must know how to properly use a multimeter, oscilloscope, and soldering iron

  • Must be able to read and comprehend schematics and wiring diagrams

  • Ability to troubleshoot to the component level

  • Experience with and/or knowledge of ISO standards and ANSI Z540-1 calibration principals, a plus

  • Must have a strong attention to detail and a strong work ethic

  • Ability to speak and read English proficiently


  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and periodic, unannounced random drug tests

  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check

  • Must be able to safely lift and move up to 75 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodations. Must be able to pass a fit for duty physical exam 

  • Must be eligible to occasionally drive a company vehicle
