About the Job

The Director of Human Resources is a key contributor to the strategic and operational components of the organization and is responsible for the smooth operation of the HR department. This position will provide overall direction, guidance and management of the human resource (HR) department, including the talent acquisition (TA) function, and serve as a business partner to the senior leadership team.

This position will foster and maintain a world-class work environment that focuses on core company values of putting our client first; and will lead and manage all of the HR and TA functions, including: strategy, policy, engagement, compensation, benefits, recruiting and employment, employee relations, training, development, separation management, performance management, and succession planning. In conjunction with general counsel, the Director of human resources will keep current on national, state and local HR laws and policies that may affect the workforce and will review and implement legal and policy changes that are mandatory to the local and national U.S. jurisdictions. This position also serves as the affirmative action officer for the organization.


1.Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of experience in human resources at a management level; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

2. Strong management skills, with the ability and desire to be flexible and work hands on with the management team when required.

3. HR experience in numerous functional areas with recent experience in staffing/recruiting, benefits management, training and development, employee relations and organizational design/development.

4.SHRM-SCP Certification or ability to obtain it within one year.
