Multimedia Advertising Account Executive
Chronicle Media, now part of Gate House Media one of the largest media publishing companies in the country, is looking for an Advertising Account Executive to join our busy team to manage the day-to-day operations of locally assigned accounts, retaining and upselling revenue, while meeting set goals and objectives. This is an exciting and fast-paced position responsible for developing and executing plans to grow an active account base through prospecting for new business and upselling existing clients.
This position provides an excellent base salary plus commission and additional rewards for achieving monthly goals.

As the Multimedia Advertising Account Executive your responsibilities will include:
SALES PLANNING, PERFORMANCE AND PREPARATION:
" Understand and maintain in-depth knowledge of both print and digital products and able to discuss both with ease.
" Participate and meet all sales activity and training expectations.
" Effectively conduct a needs analysis and propose a strong campaign based on findings.
" Build proposals for businesses from the smallest campaign to the most complex to meet customer needs and deliver results.
" Able to work well under pressure and thrive on developing new revenue
" Overcome objections professionally and creatively.
" Meet monthly minimum standards of performance.
" Maintain a superior level of customer service.
" Able to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas in person, over the phone and in writing/email.
" Maintain necessary reports for advertiser's campaigns.
" Possess knowledge of local market trends and competitors.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
o Ability to work well in a team environment and goal driven.
o Strong knowledge of print and digital media advertising, preferred.
o Ability to work well under pressure.
o Effective negotiation skills.
o Excellent customer service skills.
EDUCATION: College degree and outside business to business sales and experience preferred.
EXPERIENCE OR TRAINING:
o Digital media advertising knowledge.
o Proven superior customer service and account management track record.
o Effective negotiation skills both in person and over the phone.
o Valid driver's license and insurance records are required quarterly.
