About the Job

The City of Blue Rapids, KS is accepting applications for the City Clerk position. Duties include but are not limited to: assisting the public, all financial accounting and reporting, payroll, accounts receivable, utility billing, council agenda/packet preparation and attendance of council meetings, taking and publishing meeting minutes, preparing and publishing public notices and other directives of the city council. A qualified candidate should have education or prior experience in the field, prior computer experience (word processing, spreadsheet, accounting, etc.) The successful candidate will agree to attend training classes sponsored by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks.
